Welcome to the Agile Practitioners Forum and a short history of who we are, how we got this far, and where we plan to go from here …
Like you, RADTAC has been practicing and promoting Agile for several years; and like you we’re interested in meeting like-minded people and swapping ideas.
Connections has been actively involved in the Agile community since its inception and is unique in its support and sponsorship of Agile events.
With this in mind, RADTAC and Connections have joined together to establish the “Agile Practitioners Forum”. The plan for the APF is to raise the bar and to provide the opportunity for an invited group of Agile Practitioners to meet informally and to establish a mutually-beneficial network. We use venues that are a bit different and provide food and drink, invigorating company and stimulating conversation.
A natural extension of the success of the APF is to establish a web-presence and an environment that enables us all to continue asking questions, posting ideas and debating the issues and topics that are generated within the APF meetings.
We have already established a vociferous and practically-minded group of contributors, and we have some of the leading Agile Practitioners in the UK in our Forum. Given this breadth of experience, we believe that there is an opportunity here to innovate and move Agile beyond debating current practices.
So here we are - we invite your comments and your contributions, and once again welcome to the Agile Practitioners Forum.
Connections is uniquely associated with the continued adoption and development of Agile - having been actively involved in the Agile community since its inception and as evidenced by our proactive support and sponsorship of key Agile events. Agile seeks to bring common-sense and understanding to the world of software - we’d like to continue to be part of that!
RADTAC exercises and promotes a Pragmatic approach to IT Transformation, and to the introduction and delivery of Agile development practices and projects. We believe that being Pragmatic rather than Dogmatic enables our clients to objectively select, adopt and adapt Agile best practices that meet the specific requirements of their projects, their environment and their culture.
